We are looking for creative, self-motivated, dedicated individuals to become camp counselors for children with Autism and other disabilities in s summer camp environment.

To become a Camp Lotsafun Volunteer complete the Volunteer Application on line and we will contact you to schedule an interview. Applications are being accepted now, apply early to ensure your opportunity to gain hands on experience, enhance your education and career!

Camp Registration Is OPEN!
You are able to register for winter and summer camp at the same time! We have expanded our programs to include a 1:1 weekend camp, a young adults camp, and a camp for 4-6 year olds. Refer to the Eligibility Requirements at bottom of this page. See you at camp!

Winter Camp
The Lake Tahoe Ski & Snowboard Camp is scheduled for December 27-31, 2008, (Saturday through Wednesday). We will be offering ski or snowboard lessons with professional instructors from Disabled Sports USA. An additional fee of only $100 includes a two hour private lesson, lift ticket, rentals, and transportation. This camp is for ages 14-22, registration is limited so be sure to register early!

NEW Young Adult Camp
New for 2009, our adult camp will include young adults ages 18 and up. This camp will be held at Lake Tahoe and is designed with age appropriate activities for active young adults. This fun filled week will consist of many of your favorite activities such as campfire, swimming, the Prom, awards banquet, and hanging out with friends. Register early to ensure your opportunity to attend this camp!

NEW 4-6 Year Old Camp
New for 2009, our 4-6 year old camp will be held October 9-11, 2009. This camp will be held at Grizzly Creek Ranch and will provide the 1:1 supervision required to improve play skills, social skills, and promote independence. Campers will be assigned to cabins with age appropriate peers. We will focus on age appropriate activities including campfire with s'mores,outdoor games, pet therapy, music, art, awards banquet, and many others! Register early to ensure your child's opportunity to attend this camp!

NEW 1:1 Supervision Camp
New for 2009, our camp, especially for those requiring 1:1 supervision will be held October 9-11, 2009. Eligibility Requirements for Camp Lotsafun
Campers must meet ALL of the following 8 requirements
1. Must not be physically aggressive-does not pinch, bit, or hit self or others
2. Must not be verbally aggressive-does not threaten to harm self or others
3. Must not be medically fragile-puree diet, g-tube, oxygen, etc.
4. Must be continent-pull ups at night are OK
5. Must be sexually appropriate
6. Must be acclimated to a regular sleep pattern-at least 6 hour per night
7. Adults must be non-smokers
8. Adults must be physically active

Campers AGES 4-17 who meet ALL of the above requirements, AND require at least one of the following 4 will require 1:1 Supervision.
1. ALL 4-6 year olds will require 1:1 supervision
2. Has required one to one supervision in the past
3. Has difficulty remaining on task-requires hand over hand assistance
4. Has elopement behavior--runs away, hides, refuses to remain with group
